SuVeda
translates to ‘Good Knowledge’. Knowledge derived in
the pursuit of wellness. Wellness evokes many
perceptions in the mind of people. Free from
diseases, healthy living, peaceful mind, healthy
body, agelessness. Wellness is all of this and much
more. The World Health Organization defines wellness
as “Health is a state of complete physical, mental
and social well-being and not merely the absence of
disease or infirmity”.
The practice of Ayurveda is based on strong
fundamentals of knowledge, about the functions of
the human body, its myriad interactions of the
organs, tissues and the interplay with its external
environment. A thorough understanding of body
functions enumerate the factors that contribute to
longevity. Longevity, with the full complement of
healthy mind and soul, resides in a body at peace
with nature.
Ayurveda and Yoga, together provide the keys to
unlock the secret to an ageless body and a timeless
mind. The knowledge of Ayurveda was handed down from
generation to generation by word and practice from
the master to his disciple. This is the knowledge of
health, the Discovery of Wellness. SuVeda. |
